Community & Group Programs

Our Community and Group Programs provide a welcoming and supportive space where participants can build friendships, develop confidence, and stay connected within their local community.

We offer a variety of social, recreational, and skill-building activities designed to promote independence, wellbeing, inclusion, and meaningful participation.

Thursday Community Connection Group

We host a weekly community group every Thursday at Hamilton South Community Hall. These sessions offer a fun and inclusive environment where participants can enjoy activities such as karaoke, dancing, arts and crafts, and a didgeridoo group, along with shared morning tea and lunch.

Participants are encouraged to get involved in cooking and other activities that help build independence and life skills. We also provide donated clothing and shoes to those in need. Most importantly, these gatherings create a welcoming space where people can connect, share a cuppa, and feel part of a supportive community.

Every Thursday 10am-2pm at Hamilton South Community Centre, Fowler Street.

Friday Fishing Group

Get outdoors, have a yarn, and enjoy a relaxed day out with good company. Whether it’s catching a fish or just spending time together, it’s all about connection, fresh air, and having a good time. A light lunch is provided on the day.

Every Friday 10am-2pm (weather permitting)
